Quilting on the Temple Wall Hanging

This is Suzanne Staling's House!
Mom, Grandma and I went today to help quilt the Wallhanging that the young women of our Stake have done for the Twin Fall's Idaho Temple.
It is absolutly Beautiful!
Sister Valorie Brown sewed it all together and the girls in the Stake designed it with the help of an Art teacher. Now we all get to quilt it.
Maybe they will even put it in the temple like they did with the one in Lousianna!
Here I am quilting with three masters whoes stitches are so even it looks like a machine made them. Mine were a little less than perfect. I am a little out of practice. :0

This is a view of the part that isn't rolled from being already quilted
This is my Favorite part about the quilt!
The Temple material is textured and lookes like stone blocks.
I love to See the Temple!

Here we are left to right: Sister Stalings, Grandma Jones, me!

!!!SENIOR PROM!!!

My Beautiful Sister Jess!
Tonight is the Twin Falls High School Bruin's Prom.
But for my wonderful sister and her friends it is the last dace ever in High School!
* * * * * What a day! * * * * *
I had the priveledge of helping the lady of the day paint her toe nails, buy jewelery, Find cute shoes, do her make up and finish her prom dress.
She lookes so good in the very beautiful dress my mother made!
Mom is in Utah with Julie and the kids buying me missionary luggage that is RUBY RED and helping pregnant Julie, so I got to be the picture taker, and the person to see them off.

This first shot is of her coming up the stairs.
We don't have stairs you can walk down to look gloriouse and you are decending but the trend is to still be down stairs and then come up.
We usually place someone behind the girl dressed up so that she can watch the boy's reaction but there was only one of me today so that really didn't work. Dianne Derricott came over though so that was fun and a little funny becasue she is both Drew and Jess's boss. :)
It is ok though all the boys at the station know who is Dianne's Favorite. This is Jessica in her beautiful dress! I made the sash! That is it, Mom made everything else :)
This is Drew and Jessica, Isn't she BEAUTIFUL?!?!
And he is VERY hansome!
I think that he might know but he is good about it anyway.
You would never guess becasue he is so kind and nice to people.
I hear he is quite the tease to all the girls at TFHS as well.
HAVE A GREAT TIME YOU TWO!!!!

Packing and UnPacking!

THIS JOB IS USELESS!!!!
I have been trying for a week to unpack everything from school and repack it into labels boxes for the next 18 months and I have gotten literally nothing done! I am so useless! It is OK I am learning what it means to be Mom Jones and all about the sign right by the door that says. "If a mother's place is in the Home... Why am I always in the car!" and I don't have any kids to take care of just mom's errands! I don't know how all you wonderful mom's do it? It is fun, don't get me wrong but I need lessons on my time management skills! These are pictures of the project at hand.

Right when I got home and started on the packing project.
view of my room and the different piles yet to be sorted.

My already full closet!
I am going to have to put my bed up on cement bocks to get everything out of Mom and Dad's way!
Well that was the beginning of the week or really last Saturday's project. It is Friday now and it still looks like that. Wish me luck!
Love Heather

The Best day of My life

*****You will never guess what came out in the paper? *****

Yes! me in a picture with President Thomas S. Monson! This was right before he shook my hand and told me I have smiling eyes! What a great Blessing in my life! And this weekend I got to sit in the solem assembly session of gerneral conference in plaza 6, 20 rows from the pulpit and sustain our wonderful and truly called of God prophet! It was so wonderful. I also went to the afternoon session and got to sit with all of the newly called mission presidents and their families. My roommates father has just been called to be the Mission president of the Germany Munich Austria mission! the place where I recieved my call to serve on January 31 2008! How cool is it that I had that opportunity? The weekend itself was also wonderful. I got to spend time with two best friends and their families. Synthia Smoot, whoes mission papers go in in 8 days!!!!! Go Synth. And Jared Smart, the sweetheart of the world! It was also the first time in my life to visit the Salt Lake Temple! It was absolutly glorious! I really love how loving and kind Heavenly Father is to us.
